RETURNING A PACKAGE TO THE HARDWEAR STORE
If you need to return an item to The Hardwear Store for a full refund , website credit, or complimentary ring sizing , these are the following steps you should follow to make sure your package is fully insured.
- Place your jewelry inside its original ring/jewelry box.
- Place the ring/jewelry box inside a small UPS Overnight box with padding (so it doesn’t move around if shaken). Seal the small box.
- Place the small UPS box inside a medium UPS Overnight box and seal it. Affix the prepaid UPS label to the outside of the medium box and drop it off at any UPS location.
- Please obtain a UPS receipt to confirm that the item has been shipped. This receipt will act as your proof of insurance.
If you are returning your ring to us for sizing, please e-mail email@example.com to provide us with the address and phone number that you would like your ring shipped back to.

PLACING A RING ON RSESERVE
We are happy to place any piece on reserve for up to three days (including weekends) while you decide. We ensure that no other customer will be able to purchase the piece during that time, with no need for a holding deposit. Please call or e-mail our concierge service (Tuesday – Saturday, 11am – 5pm) to reserve an item. Please contact us for details.

Before you complete your purchase we call your credit card company, if the amount of the purchase exceeds what you would “normally” charge on your credit card, your purchase will be declined. To avoid this, call your credit card company in advance to notify them of your intended purchase.

You can link your bank account to PayPal and pay for your purchase directly from your bank account while taking advantage of PayPal’s buyer protections. Additionally, we are happy to process payment with two credit cards at the time of purchase. Please contact us with your information and we will happily take care of the transaction.
